It’s really a surprise (good) to us that we found really decent authentic food at Jaimes restaurant in Vancouver while almost every friend told me the best Chinese food is in Vancouver (we tried 2 restaurants with 4.5+ rate, neither impressed us). Now, I’ll have to disagree with them. The most precious matter we enjoyed is the detail attention the chef dedicated to the food.
Nice place for Chinese food. Traditional dishes aside from the stereotypical lunch menu. Recommend the dry pot dishes where you can choose from a variety of toppings and proteins. Also the cabbage pork belly or the sour veggie fish soup is good. No tipping at this restaurant as it’s built into the price.
Me and my bestie enjoyed the food so much!!! They have very big servings with just the best price. and the taste is just delish!!! Polite staffs too!Did a take out order of Chicken Lo Mein and asked for it to be spicy. This might be the best Chinese food I’ve had. The spice was perfectly added and pretty sure it unlocked some past memories.
